Hospice thanks

Generous Wisbech firm Curtainique Ltd and its staff helped to raise cash to support people with life-threatening conditions when they donated stock and personal items to The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House charity shop in the town.
Charity shop manager Jane Brown took the initiative and went round to local businesses, asking them to take part in a Donate Day. As a result, the Anglia Way firm gave material, ready made curtains and blinds and staff brought in bric-a-brac, books and clothes.
Jane explained money-making stock was getting low so she decided to approach some businesses.
“We are not a charity which puts bags through people’s doors, we rely on what we get coming in,” said Jane, adding the shop previously did a Donate Day with the local Barclays Bank which went very well.
The Norfolk Hospice provides care, comfort and compassion for terminally-ill people, their family and friends.
There is currently an appeal to raise money for a hospice for people in Norfolk and the Fens.
