MARCH: New Mencap premises

Cambridgeshire Mencap will open its new premises in March on November 27.

The new premises at 88 High Street, will be officially opened at 5pm. Jan French, Mayor of March, will be cut the ribbon. The new premises will be the location for Artworks, an expressive arts service for adults with learning disabilities, which will take place during the day every Tuesday and Friday. On the last Saturday of each month, the premises will also be home to the charity’s monthly group activities for adults with learning disabilities and volunteer ‘befrienders’, who link up with young people with learning disabilities, will also use the premises as their base.

Ian King, local watercolour artist, will be at the launch to show his support for Artworks.
