Police authority names new chief

Northamptonshire Police Authority has announced the appointment of a new chief executive.
Debbie Roe moves from deputy to take the top role - charged with setting budgets for policing in the county and appointing its chief constable.

Police authority chair Deirdre Newham said Ms Roe, replacing Paul Reichelt, was an "outstanding applicant".
