WISBECH'S Thomas Clarkson Community College will be filled with the 'Sound of Music' next week when students take to the stage to perform the popular Rodgers and Hammerstein musical.
On Friday pupils went through the dress rehearsal ready for next Wednesday's (July 8) curtain up on the annual end of year musical.
The show is being performed at the school nightly at 7.15pm until Friday July 10 and tickets priced, £7 for adults, £5 concessions of £20 for a family ticket (two adults, two concessions) are available from reception or on the night.
Youngsters from the college's feeder schools are set to enjoy a sneak preview on Tuesday afternoon when the cast give a final run through before the main shows.
Taking the role of Maria is Year 11 student 16-year-old Carmen Hannibal-Stewart,
Captain Von Trapp is played by 15-year-old Thomas Goddard.
The children are played by: Liesl - Tia Holland; Kurt - Nathan Hassler; Friedrich - Jonathon Briers; Gretl - Emily Sharp; Marta - Stacey Pitcher; Brigitta - Rebecca Cooper and Louisa - Beth Wrate.
The show has been directed by Paul Cooke, with Neil Keer as the musical director and Lisa Taristano as choreographer.
