Wisbech Players present "Fawlty Towers" at The Angles Theatre in Wisbech from March 23 to 27.
Fawlty Towers is considered one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.

Set in a 1970s Torquay hotel, Basil Fawlty, the owner of the establishment, is a man of infinite rudeness with a rabid dislike of guests.

His wife Sybil seems immune to work and so it's down to poor Polly the waitress to get Basil out of trouble.

Meanwhile, Manuel, the hapless Spanish waiter, is just trying to learn a spot of English.

Of the 12 classic episodes written by John Cleese and Connie Booth, three are brought back to life by The Wisbech Players with 'The Hotel Inspectors', 'Communication Problems' and 'Basil the Rat'.

Directed by David Brammer the production features Jonathan Sloan as Basil, Carolyn Aldis as Sybil, Jemma Matten as Polly and Mark Fearnley as Manuel supported by a plentiful cast of new and established members.

The imaginative set designed and built by George Frost and friends serves to bring the production to a peak of performance.
