Citizen readers are being asked to support a fundraising coffee morning to raise money for the people of earthquake-struck Haiti.
Treasure Jones, who is a circuit steward of the Fens Circuit Methodist Churches, is organising the coffee morning on behalf of the churches.

It is at St James Methodist Church, Marshland St James, on February 6 from 10am to 1pm.

Refreshments and hot lunches will be served with home-made food and there will be stalls including home-made cakes, games, bric-a-brac and more.

Supporters are asked to just turn up on the day.

Treasure, who is the secretary of Tydd St Giles Methodist Chapel, is also asking for donations of unwanted items such as Christmas presents and anything else, for the stalls.

If you can help or if you want to make a money donation, contact Treasure on 01945-870214.
