THE curtain opens tomorrow (May 15) on the latest production by the Anglian Players (pictured above in rehearsals).
“No Sex Please – We’re British” is being performed at the Youth and Community Centre in March’s Station Road from May 15 to 17 at 8pm.
The play, written by Anthony Marriott and Alistair Foot, is a rip-roaring farce in the best English tradition that enjoyed a record breaking run of 17 years in the West End in the 1970s and 1980s.
It tells of the laughable efforts of a young couple and their bungling friend to get rid of a pile of unsolicited pornographic material that suddenly arrives on their doorstep.
The cast consists of a number of familiar faces and also some newcomers, all under the watchful eye of Dave ‘Boat’ Robinson, making his debut as a director.
Tickets, at £6 each (concessions £5), are available at Sandra’s in Station Road, March or at the door on the night.
