Gardening talks and walks at Peckover

MAY is a great time to visit the two-acre Victorian walled garden at Peckover House in Wisbech.
On May 9 there is a chance to enjoy a lecture lunch with Twigs Way, a professional garden historian and writer. Twigs is the author of ‘Virgins, Weeders and Queens’ and will talk about women gardeners and garden writers in the late Victorian and Edwardian period.

Booking essential on 01945-583463. The cost is £25 per person.

n On May 21 learn about the plant hunters of the past and how their work gave us some of the plants we enjoy today in a specialist walk and talk with one of the gardeners at Peckover.

The cost is £2.50, places are limited.
