FAIRIES, goblins, elves and their friends are inviting families along for a magical family outing at Dunhams Wood, March, for an Enchanted Wood Day on Sunday (17).
As well as the usual woodland delights, expect to be charmed by toadstools, magic stones, butterflies and flowers – many of which have been created by children from All Saints and Westwood schools in March.
Attractions will include various magical workshops for children of all ages, a pixie Post Office, wishing tree, story teller, face painting and games.
The Goblin Express will also be running, and you are invited to lose yourself in the Mysterious Maze. There will be prizes for the best fairy folk or woodland creature fancy dress costumes.
The event has been organised by Crafting2You – a social enterprise group which aims to bring opportunities to create art to local adults and children with health, physical or financial restrictions.
The money raised will go towards Christmas Craft workshops for young carers.
Ticket prices for the event, which takes place from 2pm to 5pm, are £2 per adult, 50p per child – or £5 for a family ticket – and they include a free drink per child.
Dunham's Wood is just off the B1099 March to Downham Market Road.
