Make a Date...in December

The tree is up, the children are rehearsing their lines and I'm searching for large t-shirts to make shepherds' outfits.
I love December, so much going on and all that Christmas cheer. So from all of us at Fenland Arts we wish you a very happy Christmas.

This month don't miss the Winter Wonderland exhibition at the Angles Theatre, Wisbech, opening on December 6.

Winter Wonderland is an eclectic exhibition including a mixture of work from local and international artists which will transform the exhibition space into a magical and inspiring 'Winter Wonderland'.

A special opening reception will be held on Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

Also, local artist and printmaker Louise Stebbing is once again taking part in Art on the Map Open Studios on the weekend of December 5 and 6 at Skylark Studios in Tydd Gote.

December 5 – Christmas Fun Day at Skylark, 10am – 4pm, meet with Santa and enjoy the Chatteris Brass Band play some Christmas carols.

December 6 – Trinity Church, March, carol service and Chatteris Town Band, 6.30pm.

December 6 – Elme Hall, Brighton 65, following their huge success on the scooter scene Brighton 65 are back. So if you like the WHO, Small Faces, Kinks and Jam, you will not want to miss this.

December 13 – Elme Hall, Beyond Duplication, the best classic rock from one of the best line-ups around, including AC/DC, The Cult, Led Zep and Thin Lizzy.

December 20 – Trinity Church, March, Christingle service, 6.30pm.

December 21 – Victorian Christmas Market in Wisbech, 10am - 4pm, loads going on, stalls, entertainment and Santa.

December 30 – March Town Hall, taster session for junior camera club, 2 - 4pm, for young people aged 7-19. For more information call 01354-652769
