Art classes continue to run on Thursday mornings at Wisbech and Fenland Museum 10am-noon until May 21.

Lisa also runs the Newton Art Group on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm at Newton village hall. Again all abilities welcome, all media covered.

Life drawing from 7pm-9pm on Thursday, May 7 at Octavia Hill's Birthplace House, Wisbech. Cost £6.

If you'd rather dance than draw, then head out to Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey on Thursday, May 7 and May 21, or Friday Bridge Community Centre on May 14and 28, where you can practice your ballroom and sequence dancing moves in a Dancing for Fun and Better Health session from 2pm-4pm.

An exhibition – Architectural Landscapes – is a collection of detailed pen and ink drawings by local artist Rosemary Harvey showing in Wisbech until May 21. Free entry, at the Angles Theatre, Alexandra Road, Wisbech.

Rosemary Harvey's work can also be seen at an ongoing exhibition at Betty's Tearooms in Whittlesey alongside works by Louise Stebbing, Penny Carkeek and David Lewis.

On SaturdayElgood's Brewery in Wisbech hosts a craft fair from 10am to 4pm in their four-acre garden, incorporating 200-year-old specimen trees. Entrance £3 – no concessions.

A weekend wood engraving workshop, taught by specialist Geri Waddington, will welcome both beginners and the more experienced at Skylark Studios, Hannath Road, Tydd Gote on Saturday and Sunday. Cost £110 for two days, plus approximately £15 for hard wood. All other materials and tools provided. To book call 01945-420403.

May 13-16: The Anglian Players are "Beyond A Joke" in a must-see two-act comedy by Derek Benfield, 7.30pm, at March Youth and Community Centre, Station Road

Enjoy a concert by March Brass 2000 and Variante Ensemble on May 20 at 7.30pm at Trinity Church, March.

Snapshots 2009 – what life is like in Wisbech and the surrounding areas – will be on show from May 23 in the window of the new Kodak One Stop Photo Shop at the Horse Fair.

On May 26, as on every fourth Tuesday of the month, Wisbech Acoustic Music Club is held at the Angel Hotel in Wisbech, starting 8pm. Everyone is most welcome to come along to sing, play or just listen.
