Sponsored sing for church funds

WISBECH St Mary councillor Phil Wait and pub landlord Bert Harris are taking part in a sponsored sing for the village church restoration fund.
Driving instructor Phil and Bert from the village’s Wheel Inn, are singing on Friday, August 8 between 9pm and 10pm in the church as part of a 24-hour event where other local people will be entertaining to raise money.

Phil, a keyboard player and singer with the Vintage Rock Company, and Bert are singing a mixture of older numbers and swing.

People are being urged to support the event and make a donation.
