Appalled at number of missed appointments and prescriptions

BECAUSE of ongoing health problems, my partner and myself have reason to use both the Riverside and Cornerstone doctors' practices at March.
The media and certain other individuals are constantly haranguing the doctor's practices and the NHS in general.

Very little is ever said about the missed appointments.

I was appalled to see the number of missed appointments at the Riverside – 85 in the month of March – and 100 plus at the Cornerstone, plus scores of ordered prescriptions not collected.

I don't know what the figures are for the other practice, Merchford House.

I would suggest that the whingers who can't get an appointment to see their doctor ASAP, instead of blaming the practice lay the blame at those who miss appointments without a cancellation.

And, if they can't get the medication they demand, they thank those dingbats who don't collect their ordered prescription from the pharmacies.

ROBERT HARVEY,
Nene Parade,
Wisbech.
