Gravel carriers please take care

WOULD all gravel-carrying vehicles ensure that gravel does not fall out and bounce on the road into oncoming traffic.
You are responsible to load your vehicle safely and to ensure your load does not shed.

On Thursday I was on the way to Ely when a lorry acted as a salt spreader and sprayed the road with gravel at 50mph.

Consequently, I suffered six chips to my front window and one crack and one broken fog lamp.
