FOLLOWING your article about Wimblington Cricket Club, I feel I must write to support coach Bill Adamson.
My children spent three days at the cricket festival at March Cricket Club – days packed with fun. All of this was down to Bill (and a team of loyal helpers!).

He has introduced so many young people into cricket and always gives them his full attention and commitment, no matter their ability. He is an inspiration to them all.

I would like to say thank you to Bill (and his team) for the cricket festival and for all the hard work during the three days and for all the coaching Bill has given the children and, hopefully, will continue to do for many years to come.

The particular members of Wimblington Cricket Club should be ashamed of their actions in creating this situation. They will soon realise what an asset they have lost in losing Bill. It will be their loss in the long run.

Thank you again Bill, keep up the hard work. All of the children and parents support you.
