I am trying to locate a relative who was living in Wisbech in 2000.
She would now be in her early 80s.

I would dearly love her to contact me if she, a member of her family or a friend should read this letter.

Her name is Phyllis Jameson (nee Schooling).

She is the daughter of Joseph Schooling, brother of my father John. She was/is very active in the organisation ABCIFER, pressing for justice for former prisoners of war and internees during the Second World War. ]

She was interned, along with her father, for some three and a half years. The rest of her family were lost when the evacuation ship carrying them away from Singapore was torpedoed.

If you, Phyllis, or your children or friends read this letter, please contact the Fenland Citizen to get in touch.

TERRY SCHOOLING
