Parking: Plenty of warning was given
Published Date:

I refer to Ron Clark's letter of April 9 regarding a fine of £40 levied by Aldi on him.
There is a clear notice in the car park about parking.
Plenty of warning was given before the enforcement started and it was quite clear that people were leaving their vehicles in the car park without actually shopping in the store and some sort of action needed to be taken.
I am sure even the slowest shopper doesn't take an hour-and-a-half to finish their shopping in Aldi.
Perhaps Tesco should follow the example – especially on a Sunday when the market is operating. The notice in their car park does not refer to any penalty.
