THE closure of the St Peter's Road Post Office at March is cut and dried, but please don't lay all faults at the feet of the EU.
Of course, Post Office Ltd does have funds available to dish out to surviving post offices.

Several years back, they applied to Brussels for funds to rationalise.

They got it and it's been earning interest.

If St Peter's Road Post Office is closed, there will only be one in March that can deal with DVLA transactions.

Come Christmas customers will literally have to wait for hours to have their car taxed, aggravating March's parking problems while they wait.
