Post offices: Another EU edict to detriment of Britain

MR Baynes is correct (Public Platform, July 30) about Post Office closures being a "done deal", along with many other European Union edicts to the detriment of Britain.
The proposed sale of British energy to France would have again left us vulnerable in having their nuclear plants built here, since France and Germany are phasing theirs out.

Wind, water and solar may save this planet, hopefully, despite the sad, misguided, objectors.

Another edict from European Union says Gordon Brown cannot lower our VAT without permission from Brussels. Who signed that one?
