WHEN the people in higher places decide to shut Post Offices do you think they give a fig for all the old and frail with their sticks who will need to walk a long way just to stand in a queue for ages and walk all the way back again?
Not them. Can you see them walking a long way? They have no idea how the other half live. They do not care about mums or their little children walking and waiting, getting tired or frustrated.

It seems to me no matter how we complain and campaign they have decided already.

If they have let's have chairs to sit on and piped music and maybe a cup of tea or coffee while we wait unless the queue is so long the Post Office runs out of time to serve us all.

Wendy Norris,
Benwick Road,
Doddington.
