RE 'Barrier has cut town in half' (Citizen, Wisbech edition, April 16) and the comments about the two Park Home sites that Norman Evenden purports to represent.
The number of residents totals 199 (not 209) and these are over 50's parks, not pensioners parks.

Mr Evenden is chairman of the Residents Association but, like ourselves, there are many residents who are not members.

To speak on behalf of all residents he would need to carry out a full and extensive opinion poll.

Several of the residents are disabled and covered by the blue badge scheme and have their own opinions on parking in the market square.

His statement that we all want full pedestrianisation is not correct.

Norman Evenden does not speak on behalf of all of the residents.

Wendy and Geoff Sturdy,
via e-mail.
