I AM writing on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care to thank everyone in Wisbech, March and Chatteris, for their generous support of the recent Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal, which is supported by Yellow Pages.
Your readers' support with our collections in the towns and at local supermarkets has raised an amazing £2,169.18 in Wisbech and £1,418.82 in March and Chatteris for the local Marie Curie Nurses, who provide free high quality nursing, to give local terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families.

The fantastic amount raised in Wisbech will mean that local Marie Curie Nurses will be able to provide 108 more nursing hours; in March and Chatteris it will be able to provide 71 more nursing hours.

If you would like more information about Marie Curie Cancer Care, please visit our website at www.mariecurie.org.uk or call 01223-416405.

KAREN CHESNEY,
Community Fundraising Manager for Cambridgeshire,
Marie Curie Cancer Care.
