As a lifelong movie buff, I was pleased to read in the Citizen that the Luxe cinema in Alexandra Road, Wisbech has now been open for almost a year.
In that year, I have visited The Luxe to see: The Young Victoria, Marley & Me, Ice Age 3, Harry Potter, Fame, Nine, and It's Complicated.
A lady friend and I saw the latter movie as part of the 'Two for One' deal which is available every Wednesday afternoon and evening.
At weekends and school holidays there is usually a showing of three or four different films each day.
The Luxe boasts a fully licensed bar and a full-size cinema screen. It is very pleasant to be able to enjoy a drink and a snack before, during, and after the movie.

A real bonus of The Luxe is its location.
Burleigh Ibbott, the owner of The Luxe, should be congratulated for bringing the big screen to Wisbech.
I gather that some people travel from far and wide to see movies at Mr Ibbott's cinema.
The Luxe cinema is a great asset to the town of Wisbech.
