PERHAPS the parents of the three young lads aged roughly 10-12 cycling along Chapnall Road, Walsoken, the other Saturday would like to keep a better eye on them?
While driving past them they split into one lad one side and two on my left.
I kept a close eye on them and was driving slowly, but they were swerving from side-to-side so, to be on the safe side, I gave a little toot on the hooter to let them know traffic was about.
Well, I never heard such a foul tirade of abuse and obscenities.
They swore and shouted at me and also at the driver of the car behind me, while waving their fists in the air.
What kind of children are we raising these days, I wonder?
And do the mothers and fathers advocate this behaviour?
When one of these children gets run over and killed and their parents are beside themselves with grief, it will be too late. And, obviously someone else's fault... I don't think.
