EMPTY retail premises at March and at other places countrywide is something we will have to get used to.
In-town and out-of-town superstores are very popular but over the years, they unashamedly contributed to baring the bones of smaller independent businesses – all in the name of ruthless acquisitiveness and misdirected wealth.

Financial and super-commercial moguls are motivated by greed and now they, in turn, are being caught up in world events, instability and emerging world powers who want their pound of flesh, too.

There is nothing anyone can do of a lasting beneficial nature.

TREVOR BEVIS,
St Peter's Road,
March.
