IN SPITE of the wintery weather conditions on Friday it was encouraging to note how well local delivery services and businesses managed to maintain a business as usual level of services. The exception to the rule was Fenland District Council who failed to supply a refuse collection service.
Would it be too much to expect that those we elect should refrain from squabbling and bickering over who should be picking up a handsome pay cheque for leading the Council and focus on supplying the basic services such as refuse collection?
