Worth applying for planning permission
IN response to Skylarks Boot sale article in Wednesday, May 7 edition. Yes you do need planning permission.
However, they have successfully tried out the possibility of holding a car boot sale there and it has proved worthwhile applying for consent.
As regards the concrete plant, well doesn't that cause concern to the "visual amenity" of the area?
I suppose that company can afford its commercial council tax incentives much to the financial pot of Fenland Council. I don't suppose Fenland Council can legally take on the multi-billion pound "Handson" organisation?
Maybe it's a case of "who had more money to take a legal battle" wins.
Just like the onslaught of Tesco shops in this country. They always get their own way.
