Museum fun for young

THERE are two days of fun activities planned at March Museum to keep the kids amused during the holidays.

l On Friday, July 31, Scary Fenland Monster Masks is taking place between 10am and 12 noon. Listen to scary stories of horrible creatures and creepy places and make a scary mask.

Between 1pm and 3pm, Boggles and Boggarts is perfect for your little monsters.

Explore the frightening world of Fenland monsters and witches and make a Boggle and Boggart.

l On Friday, August 7, budding archaeologists can learn about the dinosaurs that lived in the Fens 65 million years ago, investigate real fossils and make their own dinosaur at Fen Dinosaurs and Fossils from 10am to 12 noon.

The Wild Fens comes to life from 1pm-3pm. Children can investigate wildlife and discover bitterns, ducks, dragonflies and minibeasts.

All activities are for children aged four to 13 and are at March Museum on High Street. Price is 1.50 per child per session. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
