Tell us why your Mum is special

TO celebrate Mother’s Day, the Citizen has teamed up with 99p Store in Wisbech to make three mums’ day a bit more special.

The value retailer, which has just rolled out its extensive Mother’s Day range at its Wisbech town centre branch, is giving the winner 50 Mother’s Day items from its store, with two runners-up receiving 25 items each.

Entries are welcomed not just on mums, but “mum figures” too.

The 99p Store has the following items amongst its 300-strong Mother’s Day range: giant ‘I Love You Mummy’ cards, ‘Best Mum’ teddies, mugs, ‘The Best Mummy Ever’ plates, chocolates and lots more – ALL for just 99p each.

The retailer’s range extends from babywear to biscuits, cosmetics to chilled products, drinks to DIY, food to fashion, gardening to gifts, pet-care to party-wear, stationery to sweets.

More than 1.75M Britons now shop weekly at 99p Stores. There are 138 UK branches including ones in Wisbech town centre and Huntingdon town centre.

“Grabbing a bargain is now part of the daily shopping experience in Britain today,” said 99p Stores boss Hussein Lalani.

To nominate your mum as a winner, put her details on a postcard or sealed envelope and tell us in 25 words or less why she deserves to win.

Don’t forget to include your name, address and a daytime telephone number. Send it - marked 99p STORE COMPETITION - to the Citizen at 11 Union Street, Wisbech or 26 Market Place, March.

Entries can also be emailed to competitions@fenlandcitizen.co.uk

Closing date is 10am on Tuesday, March 22.
