WIN a month’s supply of Pick ‘n’ Mix sweets

EXACTLY two years since Woolies disappeared nationally on Britain’s High Streets, its legacy lives on in Wisbech.

Pick ‘n’ Mix is back – and Fenland folk can win a month’s supply of Britain’s favourite sweets.

Recession-busters 99p Stores, which has re-opened 55 former Woolies stores across the UK under its bargain brand name, is now permanently selling Britain’s favourite sweets, including at the branch in Wisbech town centre.

You can get all your old favourites, including white mice, chocolate buttons, dolly mixtures, kola cubes and jelly babies.

And Fenlanders can’t get enough of them!

“It’s now pretty much our best-selling product in Wisbech,” said 99p Stores boss Hussein Lalani.

After a successful trial at selected stores across the UK, 99p Stores is now rolling out Pick nn’ Mix at all of its 136 UK branches.

To be in with a chance of winning a month’s supply of Pick ‘n’ Mix, answer the following question: What former High Street giant did 99p Stores replace in Wisbech?

Put your answer on the back of a sealed envelope or postcard, along with your name, address and a daytime telephone number, and send it - marked 99p STORES COMPETITION - to the Citizen at 11 Union Street, Wisbech or 26 Market Place, March.

Entries can also be emailed to competitions@fenlandcitizen.co.uk

Closing date is 10am on Tuesday, November 23.
