£2 million leisure complex to be unveiled by celebrity guest

A mystery celebrity guest is to help perform the official opening of the new £2 million leisure development at Tydd St Giles Golf and Leisure Estate on February 14.

The identity of the celebrity is being kept under wraps until next week. Adrian Hurst, managing director of the estate said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be unveiling our new build.”

A ribbon will be cut at 12.30pm. Guests include Alan Melton, Leader of Fenland District Council and Viv McRae, Wisbech Mayor.

The leisure complex will feature a heated indoor pool with a coco jet machine, which controls the water current, steam room and sauna, as well as a fully air-conditioned fitness suite.

The building was constructed by Wisbech-based Bespoke Oak Supplies Ltd.

Adrian added: “Visitors will get the chance to ‘try before they buy’ as all of the new facilities will be free to use during the day. Anyone who hasn’t received an invitation and would like one should get in touch.”
