Patients at Wisbech’s North Cambs Hospital can enjoy fresh, modern facilities thanks to the opening of a new £40,000 suite.

The Fazarally Suite, named after late hospital staff nurse Sidick Fazarally, has two new patient consulting rooms and a waiting room and was funded by the Friends of Wisbech Hospitals.
During the official opening of the suite, next to the Peckover Ward, the hospital’s generic waiting area was also named after Eileen Plater, who has been chairman of the Friends for more than 30 years.
The Friends’ next project will be a major refurbishment of the changing area in the X-Ray department.
