CLEVER Aaron Cobb is celebrating record-breaking GCSE exam results.
Sixteen-year-old Aaron’s impressive eight A* and four A grades means he is the most successful pupil ever at West Walton’s Marshland High School.

Aaron, who lives in the village, is going to the King Edward VII School in King’s Lynn to study A-levels in human biology, maths, English language and physics and would eventually like to train as a pilot in the RAF.

Aaron said he was surprised with his full set of A* and A grades and thought he had probably achieved three A*.

He said it was a “nice feeling” to be a school record holder.

Son of Martin and Wendy Cobb, Aaron has a younger sister Ellie, who is also at Marshland High.

Aaron said his parents were at work when he phoned them with the good news.

“Mum was at work and she cried. I rang dad and he was really happy,” he said.

Aaron is also a keen sportsman, playing cricket for Leverington, hockey for Wisbech and football for Downham Market.
