A MAN has come forward with a possible explanation for several UFO sightings in the Wisbech area, reported over the past two weeks in the Citizen.
Robin Uff from Tydd St Giles said the lights could be from a laser show in someone's garden.
He said a friend of his who flies out of Fenland Airfield at Holbeach St John has seen similar lights in the sky when flying and they come from people holding laser shows outside.
The shows involve shining lasers into the sky. They can move around quickly and can be seen up to five miles away, depending on atmospheric conditions.
Mr Uff said a friend in Sutton St James recently held a party with one of these laser shows and he could see the lights from his house, which is around four miles away.
