Boy (12) victim of hit-and-run

A BOY was knocked off his bicycle by a Land Rover in Wisbech.
Police are appealing for witnesses. The 12-year-old from Elm was cycling along Harecroft Road on Saturday when he was knocked over at around 1pm by a red Land Rover.

He was taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries and later discharged. The driver failed to stop after the collision.

n Police are also appealing for information following a crash on the A47 at Tilney All Saints which left three people injured just after 12.15pm on Friday.

The vehicles involved were a white Rover 200 and a white and silver Fiat Ducato.

The Rover was travelling from Wisbech to King’s Lynn on the dual carriageway. The Ducato pulled out of a lay-by, travelling in the same direction, and the Rover collided with the central reservation and rolled over.

Three women in the Rover were injured. One suffered a broken pelvis, a broken foot and a gash to her arm and another suffered a cut to her lower leg.
