POLICE are warning they will be adopting a 'zero tolerance' approach to anti-social behaviour in the area over Halloween.
Some shops have agreed to restrict the sale of flour and eggs in the days leading up to Halloween in a bid to halt trouble.

Police have also linked with schools to spread key safety messages to children and parents.

West Norfolk Supt Nick Dean said: "There will be a zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour during the Halloween and Bonfire Night period and we are working with King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council and Trading Standards to ensure that rules around fireworks and bonfires are met.

"Halloween is an event to be enjoyed by those who want to get involved without impacting on those who don't – and these are the principles that we are working to."

During the Halloween period there will be increased Safer Neighbourhood Team patrols in hot spot areas and zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour, under-age drinking and possession of fireworks by anyone under 18.
