A WISBECH family couldn't believe their eyes as they enjoyed a day out at Hunstanton and spotted a dead piranha fish on the beach.
Dawn Mattless, who was at the seaside resort with husband Mick and their three children Brandon (12), Cameron (10) and Harmonie (3), explained: "Mick spotted what he thought was an unusual stone and called to the children to look.

"But as we got closer we realised it was a fish, and when we got even closer Mick said 'it's a piranha fish'.

"We couldn't believe it. You could see all its teeth in its mouth," said Dawn, who added they had no idea how the freshwater fish that originates from South America ended up on a Norfolk beach.
