THE Marshland High School prom went off without a hitch on Friday despite heavy rain threatening to dampen spirits.
Students celebrated the end of their exams in style, dressing up to the nines in gowns and suits.
There were some novel ways of arriving to the prom, including a double decker bus, go kart, caravan, Lamborghini and a Ferrari plus the usual array of limos.
Headteacher Matthew Parr-Burman said it was brilliant and it was great to see the students so excited.
He added: “It was one of the best we’ve ever had.
“The students were lovely.”
