PRINCE'S Trust students have turned a community garden from a wilderness into a wonderland.
The students from Wisbech and King's Lynn went to the Freebridge Community Housing garden at South Lynn Community House as part of the Prince's Trust Team Programme, run by Norfolk Fire and Rescue.
They spent a week clearing the area, creating a lawn and flower beds, planting and erecting new fencing and gates.
The plot will now be maintained by the local youth club.
Robert Clarke, Assistant Director of Housing at Freebridge said: "It was great to see how a group of young people from the Prince's Trust tackled such a daunting project. As the garden improved, their enthusiasm heightened and at the end of the process they were really proud of what they had achieved from what was a very tired looking garden."
Pictured are the students, supported by members of the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service in King's Lynn who run the scheme and Freebridge staff, including Senior Housing Officer Ann Marie Thompson (centre).
