LITTLE Bears, a new parent and child support group for pre-school children with special needs, is being set up in Chatteris – but first they need your help.
Karen Ellinor and sister-in-law Karen Paris have been handing out questionnaires around Fenland and on their website – www.little-bears.org.uk – to find what people would like from the group.

The group, which will work with the support of the Parent Partnership Service, will meet in the Bricstan Hall at Chatteris.

They have not decided what day of the week it will be, but they hope it will be in the morning or afternoon.

Mrs Ellinor, who has worked with adults with special needs, said: "I thought there isn't anything here for children with special needs.

"Karen (Paris) has a child with special needs and she struggles to find anywhere to go. We have experience, but we are doing a home study course as well."

Anyone wishing to complete a questionnaire or interested in joining the group can contact Karen Paris on 07957-800425 or visit www.little-bears.org.uk
