THANK you to everyone for raising £739.80 during Save the Children Week, which will help children to access lifesaving solutions such as mosquito nets and clean water.
Ten million children still die every year before their fifth birthday.

Incredibly, most die from illnesses like diarrhoea or pneumonia. With your help we are changing that.

Here are some examples of how your donation will make a difference:
£1 could help children recover from diarrhoea by providing five sachets of rehydration salts, £5 could protect from malaria by buying a mosquito net,

£26 could pay for a month’s supply of micronutrient peanut butter to feed a malnourished child and £80 could buy a first-aid kit including a thermometer to check whether a child is running a dangerous fever.

We are outraged that millions of children still die every year because the poorest and most neglected children are being left out. We believe that we will only reach Millennium Development Goal 4 – to cut child deaths by two thirds by 2015 – if we help these children today. It is simple to save a child’s life; we just have to act.

We want 10 million people to take action by 2010 for the 10 million children.
