BE transported back to the 1940s with the Ramsey 1940s weekend, taking place on August 19, 20 and 21.
This is the ninth show but the location has changed for this year – the weekend will take place at The Camp, Wood Lane, Ramsey, instead of at RAF Upwood.
The new site was originally the area headquarters for a searchlight and anti-aircraft battery during the Second World War.
A long-term lease has been agreed and the site will provide a home for the show for many years to come, as well as providing the 1940s committee with the exciting prospect of developing the site.
The show is in a slightly different format this year, with the Camp area providing a backdrop for all things Forties. Living History and period vehicle displays will be situated around the site.
There will be a daily fashion show with talks about the era, dance lessons and demonstrations in the Drill Hall. Tea dances will also be held there every afternoon.
The Kinema will be open for film shows and important news reels.
The popular Miss Lola Lamour and Mr Dickie Lines will entertain the crowds in front of the NAAFI and Mr Punch will be on hand to keep the children in order. Those brave enough can even have a tank ride.
The main event field contains a shopping experience with many stalls as well as the fairground, Fenland Light Railway, flight simulator and other classic vehicle displays. A period football match between the Goldthorpe Dribblers and the Ammo Girls will take place every day.
There will be aeroplanes in the air both days, weather permitting, with a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Drum Head Service commemorates all those who lost their lives in world conflicts and a sunset ceremony will close the event.
There will be two wartime dances, with Blitz Night on Friday and Big Band Evening on Saturday.
Daily entry prices are adults £7.50, concessions £5 and under 5s free. Family tickets are available.
