A CHATTERIS businesswoman is running a raffle to raise money for Addenbrooke’s Hospital after the Special Care Baby Unit took care of her granddaughter.
Karen Jones, who runs baby shop Tums 2 Tots in The Arcade, has put up a selection of prizes and is selling tickets and collecting donations in her shop.
Her granddaughter, Isabelle O’Driscoll, spent 12 days in the SCBU when she was born a year ago.
“The Rosie [at Addenbrooke’s] was brilliant. They had so much support for the family,” Karen said.
The first prize in the raffle is a ‘nappy cake’ – a gift basket of baby essentials.
The winning tickets will be drawn on December 3, to coincide with the switching on of the Christmas lights in Chatteris.
