Almost 100 children had a ball during a three-day sports festival.
March Town Cricket Club hosted the festival, now in its 10th year, between Tuesday and Thursday last week.
Almost 100 children, aged between 6 and 11 years, tried their hand at a number of sports along with cricket.
Sports coaches offered training in mini hockey, boxing, athletics, softball.
And if that wasn’t enough, the children were able to have fun on the bouncy castles on Thursday.
On Thursday evening all the children returned with their parents to enjoy the presentation evening and collect their goody bag which included a baseball cap from sponsors Fenmarc, medal, certificate, pen, tennis ball and sweets. Also in attendance was the Mayor of March Mr Kit Owen.
Club chairman Les Mills said: “I would like to thank all the coaches and the numerous volunteers for all their hard work, organisation skills and enthusiasm, which ensured the three-day festival was very successful.
“They have helped numerous children have a great start to their summer holidays.
“Plus thanks also go to Fenmarc, Fenland District Youth Council, Fruit Bowl and Fenland District Council Sports Development Staff.”
