Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace the daughter of a man who died suddenly at his home in Scotland.

Bert Maskell (65) was found dead at his home address in East Linton, East Lothian, on July 18. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

It is believed that Mr Maskell, originally from England, moved to Scotland approximately 10 to 15 years ago. It is possible that he has a daughter called Rebecca who now stays in the Norfolk area.

Police are now appealing to anyone who may know of the whereabouts of Mr Maskell’s daughter, or any other relatives, to contact Sergeant Stuart Higginbottom at Dunbar police station 01368 862718, or Police Scotland on 0131 311 3131, quoting incident number 0573 18/07/2013
