MARCH branch of the Royal British Legion is organising an Armed Forces Day on Saturday (June 23) at West End Park.
It will start at noon with a Drumhead Service.
Members of the public are welcome to attend. The Army Cadet Force will form the drumhead, accompanied by standards and members of the British Legion, Royal Naval Association and the Old Comrades’ Association.
The Deputy Lord Lieutenant and the Mayor of March will be attending together with other dignitaries.
The Branch have organised events to follow at the British Legion Club in West End, including a barbecue, stalls, bouncy castle, paint-balling, army recruiting officers and a draw with proceeds going to the armed forces.
During the afternoon Bondi will be playing and entertainment will continue throughout the evening.
