A BENWICK entrepreneur bagged £50,000 investment from Innocent Smoothies co-founder Richard Reed in last night’s Be Your Own Boss.

Adam Thompson and business partner Jeff Postlethwaite met at Huddersfield University and decided to launch their own “healthy fast food chain” in the shape of Twists Pasta Bar.

The pair have already raised enough capital to open a store in Huddersfield town centre but needed some help to take the next step.

They appeared in the second episode of BBC Three series Be Your Own Boss and impressed Richard Reed with their vision and dedication at such a young age.
