This weekend’s Parson Drove Car, Bike and Trike Show was described as “absolutely brilliant” as the lovely weather saw owners bring out their pride and joy.

There was the largest ever number of entries in the show’s history, with 273 vehicles entered in the Show and Shine. More than £5,000 was raised for charity.

Winners: best classic car – Steve Carter, Escort Mk2; best custom car – Chris Clarke, Ford Model A; best pre-50s car – Fred Clarke, Rolls Royce; best kit car – David Broker, Cobra Replica; best in show car – Mr Williams, Phantom Excalibur; best classic bike – James Daden, Vincent; best custom bike – Mr Wolfe, Harris; best commercial – Bernie Henry, Ford Pick-up; best trike – Tony Rimmer, Honda II; best scooter – Barrie Hews, Lambretta TV175; best in show bike – Barrie Hews, Lambretta TV175; best paint job – Ian Budd, Rolls Royce; shed of the show – Justin Woolner, Chevy Rat Rod; best caravan/camper – Mike Drobal, VW Camper; speedo reading – Val Manley; Fenland Friendship Club wine hamper – Gavin Booth.
