People of all ages pulled on their wellies for the annual East Anglian Puddle Jumping Championships in Welney on Saturday.
Visitors to Welney Wetland Centre enjoyed a splashtastic day for the second annual competition, where participants were judged for their enthusiasm, the height of the splash and the style of the jump.
Warden Louise Clewley said: “The puddles were set up within the reserve, and we saw a range of different jumping styles including tuck jumps and star jumps.”
About 200 people took part in the championships, where a daily winner and a weekly winner were chosen.
Visitors also enjoyed making bird feeders using pine cones and lard, and they learned all about some of the centre’s wildlife through swan feeds and the accompanying commentary.
