July and August is a busy time for the various In Bloom committees in Fenland.

Anglia In Bloom judges have already been out and about in some of the market towns and villages and on Monday Citizen photographer Adam Fairbrother caught up with visits to the Garden of Rest area next to Trinity Church in March and St Peter’s Church Gardens in Wisbech.

The judges have already been to parts of Chatteris and Benwick and will be back in Fenland next month looking at the area’s parks and some of the gardens as part of a new Parks category.

Wisbech also has an important visit on Sunday (July 28) from judges from the Britain In Bloom contest who will touring the town and meeting some of the local people responsible for making it look amazing.
